How we work...
Scope of our service
We support people over 18 who have disabilities or health problems to live independently in their home within the Brighton and Hove area.
We offer people an alternative to residential care when they need support to stay in their own home.
We can offer you care at the time of day you require, to enable you to go to day centres, work or keep appointments. We are available from 7am, 7 days a week.
Because everybody's needs, abilities and choices vary, our service must be flexible, to meet the needs of individual people. The services we provide will depend on your requirements and choices.
Before we begin providing a service we will assess your needs. We will agree with you how we will work together to arrange your care, this will be written up in a care plan.
The care plan will give the support workers the information needed to carry out the agreed tasks. We make every effort to accommodate all of your needs and our staff are always willing to go the extra mile for their clients.
There may be occasions, however, where a support worker can not carry out a task which is not in the care plan. If there are issues which need to be resolved these can be addressed during our regular care plan reviews.
